The Robot Plots

Classified — for story use only

They're plotting.
You're writing.

The Robot Plots is a corkboard of machine intrigue — story-plot generator meets pinboard humor. Pin a character. String a motive. Pull the tale off the wall.

A dark corkboard conspiracy wall of vintage robot Polaroids, handwritten notes, and red string under a green desk lamp, with the central figure circled and labeled HE KNOWS.
Exhibit A — the board as we found it.

Evidence

Three threads already on the wall

Steal them. Twist them. The robots will not sue — they are busy following the cat.

FILE 01

The Watchman?

Clockwork sentry. One yellow eye. Remembers every cat that ever followed him — and one cat that didn't.

FILE 02

Why the small one?

Handwritten card, 1957-ish. 'Why does the small one keep following the cat?' Circled twice. Nobody filed a follow-up.

FILE 03

He knows

Bakelite shell. Hidden transmitter. Trap with a magnet. The red circle on the board is not decorative.

A slightly crooked Polaroid of a brass gear-chested robot with one glowing amber eye, pinned to cork with red string, beside a handwritten index card.
Close-up of red pushpins and taut crimson string radiating across a corkboard, with Polaroids and scribbled notes at the edges.

Method

How to pull a plot off the board

  1. 01

    Pin the suspect

Every plot starts with a robot who wants something they should not want. Pushpin goes through the portrait.

  2. 02

    String the motive

Red thread from desire to disaster. Cross the strings until the coincidence looks planned.

  3. 03

    Pull the story

The board already knows the ending. You just have not circled it yet.

The board is live. The plot is yours.

A pinboard for machine stories, kept under a green lamp in The Robot Lives portfolio. No signup. No backend. Just string, cork, and suspicion.
